Vampire Survivors: How to Reset Progress

The first steps toward resetting progress are to open Steam, access the Library, and right-click on Vampire Survivors. This action will cause a small pop-up to appear, and players should click on Properties and then click on Local Files in the Proprieties box. Fans should then click on Browse to bring up their Vampire Survivors folder.

Upon accessing this folder, players should open resources -> app -> .webpack. Indie game fans should now see a file called renderer, and it is recommended that they copy it to a new location as a backup. When that is done, fans should open the renderer folder and delete all LastRunBackup, SaveDataBackup, and steam_autocloud files.

With these files deleted, players should press Windows key + R on their keyboards to open Run. Roguelite fans should then type %appdata% into Run and press Enter to access the Roaming folder. There will be several Vampire_Survivors folders within Roaming, and players should copy them to a new location for backup and delete the originals.

Fans should now return to the renderer folder, from which they deleted the first files, and click on Steam within the folder path. Players should then open the userdata folder, open the numbered folder that they find inside, and open folder 1794680. There is folder called remote within the 1794680 folder, and fans should delete the SaveData file that is inside after copying it to a new location.

At this point, there is one final thing that players must do in order to reset their progress in Vampire Survivors 1.0. Specifically, fans should return to the game’s Properties, which are accessed by right-clicking on the title in the Steam Library, and click on General. Fans should then uncheck the box that appears next to “keep games saves in the Steam Cloud for Vampire Survivors.”

When all of this has been done, players should feel free to launch the game at their convenience. Fans should then find that they have no power ups and only one unlocked character in Vampire Survivors, and they can then get started on their fresh playthrough.

Vampire Survivors is available for PC.
