The accuser said she was in an altercation with another woman who shoved her. She reportedly grabbed the woman’s hair before Alie-Cox punched her.

When she asked Alie-Cox if he punched her on purpose, she said he claimed he didn’t do it and to “leave him alone.”

A Richmond police officer did not charge Alie-Cox the night of the incident and instructed the accuser to file a charge at the magistrate’s office.

Alie-Cox did not comment Wednesday.
