He’ll join Mark Helfrich’s team and compete with Jeff Lockie for the starting quarterback position.
“It is (a relief),” Adams told the Register-Guard of Eugene, Ore. “Man, it feels awesome. It feels great to earn my degree.”
Oregon opens its season Sept. 5 against Adams’ former team, Eastern Washington. Adams decided to transfer to the Ducks for his final season after graduating, but he ran into issues along the way. He cleared the final hurdle with Thursday’s exam.
Now, if Adams can only be this clutch on the field.
